From Ritten to the Villanderer Alm

Challenging routes from Klobenstein and Oberbozen

Well, you southerners who dare to follow the call of the mountains! The North is rightly at the top of the world map, because heading North means going straight up! Coming from the South, a true top-class biking adventure awaits you: whether you saddle your bikes in Oberbozen or start in Klobenstein is almost secondary; the main thing is that your calves burn and your grin is wider than your handlebars!

Also great: at Stöffl, you can recharge your electronic steeds so they don't abandon you halfway and leave you to push the rest of the way (which would somewhat dampen the "dream"). So, get on your saddle and off into the biking dream – may the battery be with you!

The Crucial Question

Before you blindly throw yourselves into pedalling, you'd better ask yourselves the crucial question that has brought sweat to many a biker's brow: with or without a suspension bridge, that is the question! Do you dare to cross the hovering marvel that promises thrills? Or do you prefer to bypass the airy dance and stay firmly on solid ground – uh, trails?

Important details:
  1. Difficult: Suspension Bridge Loop from Oberbozen to the Alm area: 52 km, 1,750 m altitude difference

  2. Difficult: Alm area Loop from Klobenstein with a stop at Stöffl: approx. 46 km, 1,580 m altitude difference
