Sarnthein – Stöffl – Getrumalm
Seeberg Lakes thrill XXL: very difficult!
XXL – This tour is only for true pros – and by that, we don't just mean people who know how to hold handlebars. You'll need top fitness and excellent riding technique, because in some sections, you'll be giving your beloved bikes a piggyback ride. Yes, you heard right: PUSHING. And not just so you can enjoy the magnificent view longer. Some sections are so gnarly that even experienced bikers will briefly hold their breath. For beginners? Better choose another tour or come to us and enjoy some Kaiserschmarrn.
The start is in Sarnthein, from where we'll heroically work our way up to the Seeberg Lakes. After that, it's the next 5 km to Stöffl. And here's the good news: delicious food and drinks await you there, so you can get your strained muscles back in shape. Reinvigorated, you'll continue across the Villanderer Alm – and here's another well-deserved reward: a view of the Dolomites! The path continues below the Latzfonser Kreuz, over the Lückl (don't worry, it's just a small mountain pass), and then to the Getrumalm.
From there, it's downhill to Reinswald and via Astfeld and Nordheim back to Sarnthein. Your legs will burn, your camera's memory cards will glow, and you'll have a story to tell that would impress even the Pope. So, ready for a bit of adventure and the certainty that by the end, you've pushed not just your bike but also your limits?
